The Party for Democratic Statehood, as a political force carrying a pro-Armenian and Western ideology, condemns any violence and considers it unacceptable. If a citizen, activist, blogger, or journalist has insulted or slandered someone, there are solutions: the police, the court, etc., not a few people beating and subjecting a person to violence at work.We condemn the violence and incident that occurred at the district administration between the head of the Nor Nork administrative district, Tigran Ter-Margaryan, and his employees, and the activist, blogger Artur Chakhoyan. Every official, party leader, both in power and in the opposition, big and small, until he realizes that violence, being guided by the rules of criminal culture and, so to speak, maintaining dignity, the habit of solving all issues with these disgusting boyish laws must be excluded, we cannot become a full member of the EU family. My advice to the EU membership campaigners: They are going to the EU not just with words and loud shouting, but about EU human rights by first and foremost upholding values, not by beating someone in the office and justifying it. Finally, we would like to add that swearing, insulting and any behavior that degrades the dignity of an individual are also forms of violence and cannot be considered within the framework of freedom of speech.
Sincerely, For Democratic Statehood Party President Arsen Sargsyan
